Six Hundred & Rising

Overview
In the wake of George Floyd’s murder, over 600 Black Advertising executives signed an open letter to demand an end to systemic racism in the Creative Industry, forcing public scrutiny on the lack of publicly disclosed agency diversity data. The campaign, branded as #CommitToChange, pushed for a new industry standard and over 30 agencies became “Day On Participants” including Cornett, Periscope, 72andSunny, DNA, Giant Spoon, Wieden + Kennedy, Zambezi and others. Participating agencies were asked to provide specifics about improvements in the way they plan to attract, retain and promote Black talent.
Working closely with a team of creatives, we developed a collection of palettes, type treatments and styleframes that were provided to the in-house team and further developed into Six Hundred & Rising's branded assets.
